A new baby group with a difference. Come with your bump or your new baby and find out about cloth nappies, slings and breastfeeding over a hot cup of tea or coffee and a slab of cake. We also offer soup and bread to ensure you are fully fueled and ready for anything.
We offer…. a Pregnancy Book library, Breastfeeding Peer support, Bra fitting, FREE Cloth Nappy trial kits, breastpump hires, preloved nursing bras, Sling library and much more! Come to ask questions and get support.
We serve Tea, Coffee, Fruit Teas, Decafs and soft drinks. Gill is a fantastic baker and we always have cake! One of our super grateful followers Lauren makes us fresh vegan soup and bread.
The Baby Room is just round the corner from Next, John Lewis and the new swimming pool.

This group is serious about craft! There are themed activities for all occasions, seed sowing, bird feeders and who knows what else these clever mums will come up with.
Loads of time for free play and a snack too.
They are getting a card reader soon so you don’t have to find cash! Fab idea!

This is a fun and friendly group who meet in the church hall of the United Reformed Church in Pinhoe.
The room is bright and sunny and has carpet on the floor which is lovely for crawling babies. We love our craft! Bird boxes and conker marbling for starters….there is a baby corner and lots of toys.
In the summer there is an outside space which is a safe and enclosed level lawn.
The usual snacks and Tea and Coffee for grown ups. The group finishes with song time. Sounds like this group have a great social life too – mummy only trips to the pub etc!
The hall is easy to find, there is a turning to Old Pinn Lane about 100 yards after the railway station when coming from the mini roundabout.
There are parking spaces on the road.

A warm welcoming group, parents, carers, grandparents and childminders are all welcome at this group. It’s nice to see on their blurb that ‘expectant mums’ are welcome too (as if you’d turn her away anyway! but it’s good to point this out!)
There are loads of toys, a fabulous snack time, singing and craft.

Newton Nappies is a parent run baby and toddler group based in Newton St Cyres.
We meet every Wednesday at the village hall 9:30-11:30. ( during term time) It costs £2 per family which includes a snack and drink for children and a hot drink for adults.
The group has craft activities as well as toys for both toddlers and babies ( we have a safe area for small babies to play) and have close links with Crediton children’s centre.

Sponsored by Trinity Church but run by the community, this safe group meets in a shiny brand new building! The Newcourt Community Centre is beautiful! There is parking outside and it’s on the J bus route and the train route!
They offer seasonally themed arts and crafts, a safe baby zone, book corner, slides, tool bench work station, home corner and trains. There is a walled weather garden for nice days, they serve a healthy snack, tea and coffee and usually home made dairy free biscuits!
Mums report that the staff remember who you are, are friendly and welcoming, its a buzzy group in a light airy clean room, they also enjoy singing time after freeplay time.
