Nappy Friendly Nurseries

‘Hey Jen….Do nurseries use cloth nappies?’

People always ask me when I’m showing them cloth nappies….. ‘what happens when I go back to work? Do nurseries use cloth nappies?’
The answer is ‘YES’ some do….and are proud to!

You’ll need to explain to your childs key worker which ones you use and how you fit them to your child. A wet bag is a vital item to remember each day your child is in nursery.
Here is my run down of Exeter’s cloth nappy friendly nurseries…..

Tic Tocs Day Nursery - St Davids Hill

Tic Tocs are fully on board with cloth nappies – keen to support cash strapped parents and to keep bins as empty as possible! I’ve spent time with the staff here and given them full training on the different types of nappies and how to use them, I’m on hand to help with trouble shooting should they need it.

Nicola, the manager gave me a tour of the space they have in the city centre nursery located at the top of St Davids hill, I got a sense of how they work, it’s not the biggest nursery in town but is warm, intimate and calm. The baby room is colourful and fun, the perfect space to crawl about and explore. The garden is a super sunny space, complete with mud kitchen, water tubes and a sound wall!
