New families with non mobile babies are welcome to just come all day to The Baby Room for support, whether that’s with Breastfeeding, Bottle Feeding, a hug, or for a friendly natter! Worried about something and need to chat it through?
We are a safe space for you and your baby. Run by experienced Breastfeeding Peer Supporters we are here for you. Drop in – no need to book.
Of course this IS the place to come for slings, cloth nappies and all that jazz but we have loads more too.
A ground floor baby change and bathroom, sofas for hanging out and meeting others, refreshments and a bolt hole for when you need us.
You can hire stuff from here too, breastpumps, slings, books, nappy kits, feeding pillows, TENS machines and more!

This group is for newborn to prewalking. Come for a cuppa and a natter.

This group is serious about craft! There are themed activities for all occasions, seed sowing, bird feeders and who knows what else these clever mums will come up with.
Loads of time for free play and a snack too.
They are getting a card reader soon so you don’t have to find cash! Fab idea!
Time: 10am to 12pm
Cost: £0! Free to come!
A fabulous big room! Arts and crafts for old enoughs and loads of toys for everyone. Juice and a biscuit followed by a sing song and a bible story this is a lovely friendly group. Tea and coffee and a chat. Top Tip – Its not easy to find, the room is behind the church, as you look at the front of the building, walk down the path on the left hand side, there is a white UPVC door half way down the path…it’s in there!

Sidwell Street Methodist Church welcomes you! (next to KFC)
Come and enjoy a craft or activity, refreshments, playtime and a group sing-a-long.
There is a baby area, plenty of opportunity for chatting, and a small swap and borrow library.
Toddlers can play, socialise and acquire fine and gross motor skills and gain confidence.

Make some noise in the quietest place in town.
It’s free – they just want to show off their fab space.
Learn the best nursery rhymes and look at the books and all the library has to offer. It’s a 30 min activity to break up your day and have some fun.
There is baby change and weighing station too

St Thomas Tots is a well established group.
Happy and bright and always loads of natter.
Tea and Coffee and biscuits are available.
There are loads of toys and usually singing at the end.
