A busy and bright toddler group, staff are onhand to answer parenting questions and give advice. To begin with from 9.30 there is a room set aside for the toddler group with tea and coffee and activities and crafts specifically for toddlers. At 10am the group joins with older children in the nursery. Its a truly amazing space with a huge garden to roam about in. There are sandpits, painting tables, water play, dressing up, things to climb on and in, dolls... in fact you name it - its there to be played with!
Snacks are available for toddlers. |

| Details | This is a ‘come and have a natter’ playgroup, a real buzz, lots of toys with the emphasis on pretend catering! There isn’t the room for big ride ons and ‘push abouts’, so instruments and walkers are the name of the game. There’s a carpeted area and baby bouncers, Tea and coffee for grownups and snacks for littleuns. It’s run by a group of local mums who all muck in and organise the group. Be prepared to help get out toys and tidy away at the end. (Top tip, if you can’t manage the 8 ish steps, up to the hall, ring the door bell and someone will pop down and give you a hand) |

| Details | It is held in a small carpeted room and therefore isnt really noisy like some playgroups I have been too. There is a craft table which is run by the parents who take in turns each week to do a craft themed around current events i:e halloween, harvest etc.... There are bikes, trikes slides, books, trains, dolls houses and kitchens, baby toys and suitable baby bouncers etc. At 10.30 everything stops for snacks which start off with fruit and then biscuits, juice is available for the children and coffee or tea and biscuits for the mums, dads or Grandparents.... The group finishes with some singing. At Christmas there is a visit from Father Christmas In the warmer months the group can usually have free play in the garden which is a completely enclosed level lawn and patio area. Its fairly easy to find, if you head over the railway lines in Pinhoe as if going out of Pinhoe, and about 100yrds past railways lines there is a turning on the left hand side which is signposted Pinhoe URC and its down there. There is small amount of parking on the road. - The premises are shared with Little Marvels pre-school. |
